Aaron has spent his adult life in a variety of different professions many of which involve wood to a greater or lesser degree. From 1996-2008 Aaron owned and operated a custom cabinet and furniture making shop and made a point of “never making the same thing twice.”
His passion for woodworking is rooted in a profound love of trees; he selectively harvested and milled his own lumber from private land in the Eastern hardwood forests of Quebec for his cabinet making shop in Nelson BC. The concept of participating in the entire process from selecting the trees to designing and constructing the finished wooden object was an integral part of his personal aesthetic.
He now confines his woodworking interests to the polar opposite disciplines of firewood cutting and violin making.
He currently keeps his design skills honed as Art Director at Inspire U Magazine.
